NOTIFICATION FOR SPOT ADMISSION
 

For filling up of some vacant seats in different UG & PG programmes of the University, interested candidates having requisite qualification as laid down in the Prospectus-2016, are to report in the respective departments on 9th August, 2016 at 11:00 AM. The candidates will be admitted based on separate Entrance Examination to be held on the above date.

1.      Spot Admission:

i.           The Spot Admission will be on 9th August, 2016.

ii.         The candidate has to download the application form  and bring the filled in application form along with a challan of Rs. 500/- for General/OBC candidates (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/PwD). (Download the Bank Challan)

iii.       The candidate has to bring all original documents (for verification) with one set of photocopies of all the documents, six passport size photographs.

iv.       The reporting date at the respective department is on 9th August, 2016 by 11.00 A.M.  No candidate will be considered for Spot Admission after 11.00 A.M. on 9th August, 2016. The candidates for admission into M.Sc. in Anthropology and M.Sc. in BCNR shall report at the respective departments of CUO, Landiguda Campus, Koraput. The candidates for the remaining programmes shall report at CUO, Main Campus, Sunabeda.

v.         The eligibility criteria and other conditions for admission of candidates remain same as prescribed the Prospectus-2016. (Download the Prospectus-2016).

vi.       After verification of the documents, the candidate has to face the entrance test at 12 noon on 9th August, 2016, which will be conducted by the respective departments.

vii.     The duration of the examination is of one hour and it will be of 50 marks consisting of 25 questions.

viii.   After one hour of completion of the examination, merit list will be displayed in the respective Department Notice Board.

ix.      Selected candidates through spot admission will be able to take admission by producing the Admission Fee (Download the Fee Structure) in the form of Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of the Finance Officer, Central University of Orissa, payable at Koraput.


 

2.      The Candidate has to submit the following documents at the time of admission.

i.           Self signed photocopy of HSC/SSC /10th Pass Certificate and Mark Sheet.

ii.         Self signed photocopy of +2 /Sr. Secondary /Intermediate Certificate and Mark Sheet.

iii.       Self signed photocopy of +3/Graduation Certificate and Mark Sheet.

iv.      Original University/ College Leaving Certificate.

v.        Original Migration Certificate.

vi.      Self signed photocopy of OBC (non-creamy layer) Certificate issued by competent authority. It should not be more than six months old, (wherever applicable).

vii.    Self signed photocopy of SC/ST Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority (wherever applicable).

 (N.B.: Fees once deposited, will not be refunded under any circumstances)

3.     No Candidate shall be entitled to claim admission as a matter of right and the University reserves the right to refuse admission in any individual case without assigning any reason thereof.

4.     Request for admission after the due date and time will not be entertained under any circumstances.

5.      At the time of admission, every student has to submit the following forms/affidavits:

                             i.               An affidavit by student regarding Anti-Ragging and disciplinary action in a non judicial stamp of Rs 10/- . download the format 

                           ii.               An affidavit by parents/guardians regarding Anti-Ragging and disciplinary action in a non judicial stamp of Rs 10/- .download the format 

                         iii.               Application form for issuing identity card. download the form 

                         iv.               Undertaking form. download the form

6.      If at any time, it is discovered that the candidates made a false or incorrect statement and used fraudulent means to secure admission, his/her name shall be removed from the rolls of the University.

7.     All admissions are provisional and will be terminated on grounds of misconduct, reasons of ragging and other reasons considered against the interest of the University.
